Customer Onboarding Specialists


Location: Greensboro, NC / Remote WFH

The Customer Onboarding Specialist will set the new prospects and customers up for immediate success by facilitating the buy-in to free trial or starter pack subscription and implementation process within the first 30-days of engagement. As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will educate new customers, help realize value through out-of-the-box solution sets, guide and solve technical problems, and ensure smooth adoption of our products and services.

The ideal candidate is high in energy, experienced with supply chain and business operation concepts and, passionate about helping customers, and excels communication via online zoom meetings, phone, and email. Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly learn new solutions and technologies and communicate those concepts to customers at all levels with varying degrees of technical expertise. A collaborative approach is key as this role is expected to contribute ideas and initiate tactical improvements to the overall onboarding and prospect to the long-term customer conversion process.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Become an OpsVeda product expert

  • Provide detailed walkthroughs and assist many new customers with onboarding in their initial journey with OpsVeda

    • Clearly communicate account setup requirements and expectations with customers and key stakeholders

    • Educate customers on OpsVeda’s solution set and capabilities

    • Record customer implementation needs, requests, and questions in and communicate to key OpsVeda stakeholders

  • Ensure customers receive superior service

  • Collaborate with the sales, solutions, customer support, and engineering teams

  • Leverage feedback for continuous improvement to the onboarding process

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers’ business and operational objectives

  • Listen carefully to information provided by customers and ask clarifying questions to ensure proper use of OpsVeda tools

  • Establish strong relationships with new customer stakeholders and deepen relationships with existing customer stakeholders

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2+ Years of Industry experience or Masters in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Data Science.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Evidence of consistently excelling at what you do

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude
